WHAT IS #GIVINGTUESDAY?
#GivingTuesday is a global movement held annually the Tuesday after Thanksgiving – this year on November 28, 2017. The effort goes along with Black Friday and Cyber Monday but, instead of encouraging people to shop for themselves, the idea is to give to others (whether that be a monetary gift, volunteer time, donated materials, etc.).
TRIPLE Your Impact
On #GivingTuesday, individual gifts of $50 or less will be generously matched by the Cook Family Foundation and an anonymous donor up to $500. So your $25 donation becomes $75; your $50 becomes $150.
To donate for #GivingTuesday and help us provide a vital link to safety, support, hope and healing for survivors of domestic and sexual violence, please click the donate now button.
IS THERE MORE I CAN DO?
SafeCenter offer opportunities for you to volunteer or give donated materials. We would love for you to help us spread the word about #GivingTuesday by sharing your gift with your friends on Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, or other social media outlets. It’s also a great way to shop for those you love who seem to have everything already. SafeCenter will acknowledge your gift directly to you or to someone special for whom you’ve given.
Financial and in-kind sponsorship are always appreciated and provide direct and immediate support to the survivors of domestic and sexual violence at SafeCenter. For more information on available sponsorship opportunities, please click here.
